Rare musical materials

Cultural heritage collection of the KPDL has acquired a collection of manuscripts and music scores coming from the collection of Henrietta Bąkowska, and housed at the Voivodeship and Municipal Public Library in Bydgoszcz. This collection contains dances, arias, piano and guitar music. The works from Henrietta Bąkowska's collection include either original issues from the turn of 18th and 19th centuries or their manuscript copies. Some of them are probably the only surviving copies. The published scores are an excellent review of musical trends of the time.
