Creative Commons Kujawsko-Pomorska Digital Library already has over 100 publications, which are available under Creative Commons licenses. Negotiations with the authors are not easy, because librarian have to explain them exactly what CC licenses mean, hardly anyone knows it. Then we have to suggest to authors what type is the best for them. But we will continue efforts to raise awareness about Creative Commons, and explain that it depends on authors, under what conditions they want their work available on the Internet and how it is important that, thanks to modern licenses, users know exactly how they may exploit digital objects. »
